Three operating principles we've written into the way Palladio runs. Not marketing. Contractual.
01 · Pricing
We never make more than 30% over cost.
Most general contractors won't tell you their margin. We write ours into the contract. Palladio's total mark-up on any project will never exceed 30% over cost of goods sold — materials, subtrades, direct labour, and the other line items we itemize in every estimate.
This is not a promotional rate. It is our pricing policy on every project, every client, every year. It's how we price a $50,000 maintenance call and how we price a $20,000,000 build.
Transparent pricing is harder. We do it because it produces better relationships, better negotiations when scope changes, and a better night's sleep for everyone involved.

02 · Operations
Disciplined plans. Adaptive crews.
The default in our industry tends to one of two failures: no plan at all, or a plan so brittle it shatters the first time a real project does what real projects do — change. Neither produces good work.
We run a published plan. Crews know where they're going, what they're doing, and who they're doing it with. But when a complex job morphs — and the ones worth doing usually do — we don't pretend it didn't. We revise the plan, write down the change, and keep the work moving. Structure earns trust. Honest adjustment keeps it.
03 · Standards
Safety at industry standard. Reporting at the standard our clients expect.
Safety on a Palladio job is non-negotiable. We maintain the certifications our clients and their facilities require, and we meet or exceed industry standards on every active site.
Every active Palladio project produces a weekly client-facing progress report: what was done, what's next, what's at risk, what changed on cost. No surprises at invoicing. No “we need to talk” phone calls two weeks into an overrun.
Most contractor websites don't have a page like this, because most contractors can't put these promises in writing.
