Terms of Service.

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the Palladio Building Services website (the “Site”) or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Site or services.

“Palladio Building Services,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Palladio Building Services, a commercial construction, renovation, and building maintenance company based in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.

2. Services

Palladio Building Services provides commercial construction, renovation, and building maintenance services including but not limited to:

• Ground-up commercial construction and tenant improvements
• Commercial renovation, including major reconfigurations and adaptive re-use
• Full-scale industrial remediation
• Ongoing building maintenance contracts and on-demand service calls
• Trades-specific work including plumbing, electrical, drywall, and finishing

All services are subject to availability, site assessment, and mutual agreement on scope and pricing.

3. Service Requests & Quotes

Service requests submitted through our website are requests for information only and do not constitute a binding agreement. Upon receiving your request, we will:

1. Contact you to discuss your requirements
2. Schedule a site visit if necessary
3. Provide a written quote detailing scope, pricing, and timeline
4. Upon your written acceptance, commence work as agreed

4. Pricing & Payment

All prices quoted are in Canadian dollars (CAD) and are valid for 30 days unless otherwise specified. Quotes do not include applicable taxes (GST) unless expressly stated.

Palladio operates on a principled pricing policy: our total mark-up on any project will not exceed 30% over cost of goods sold. The applicable margin and line-item scope are written into every service agreement we sign.

Payment terms will be specified in your service agreement. For projects exceeding $5,000 CAD, a deposit may be required before work commences. We reserve the right to suspend work if payment terms are not met.

Additional work beyond the original scope (“change orders”) must be approved in writing and may affect pricing and timelines.

5. Warranties

Palladio Building Services warrants that all work will be performed in a professional and workmanlike manner in accordance with applicable building codes and industry standards.

We provide a one (1) year warranty on labour from the date of project completion. Manufacturer warranties on materials and equipment are passed through to the client where applicable.

This warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, neglect, unauthorized modifications, or normal wear and tear.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Palladio's liability for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the total amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

We shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, business interruption, or loss of data, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

7. Property Access & Safety

You agree to provide safe and reasonable access to the work site during agreed-upon hours. You represent that you have the authority to grant such access and to authorize the work to be performed.

Our crews follow strict safety protocols in compliance with Alberta Occupational Health and Safety regulations. You agree to notify us of any known hazards, including but not limited to asbestos, lead paint, or other hazardous materials present at the site.

8. Cancellation & Rescheduling

You may cancel or reschedule a service appointment with at least 24 hours' notice without penalty. Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice may be subject to a cancellation fee.

For project work, cancellation terms will be specified in your service agreement. Generally, you will be responsible for the cost of work completed and materials ordered prior to cancellation.

9. Website Use

The content on this Site, including text, graphics, logos, and images, is the property of Palladio Building Services and is protected by Canadian copyright laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

You agree not to use this Site for any unlawful purpose or in any way that could damage, disable, or impair the Site.

10. Privacy

Your use of our Site and services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

11. Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Alberta.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to this Site. Your continued use of our Site or services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
